  A company called IMPCO makes very nice gas carbs for engines ranging
from 5HP to 5000 HP.  The smallest is a model CA-50, with various
options, and costs about $100.  I have converted several small gensets
using these carbs.  Sorry I don't have a good phone number for them, but
try checking with companies that overhaul industrial engines.
