subject: Re: Add-on USB 2 cards and hubs

I installed an Adaptec USB card ($20 or so after a CompUseless price cut
and a mail-in rebate), and it works fine with an outboard hard disk in a
USB box, except that LVM is confused about the drive capacity -- but I
can still access the drive and copy stuff; it was partitioned and
formatted before I put it in the USB box.
