Hi Regina,
You have discovered the best tool in the world. Doing what works best
for your child. :) I have been using this same method for years for all
children. Games are designed for repetitive play and playing is
practicing. :) Ultimately, practicing is learning.
There are all sorts of games that you can utilize and invent. I have
several game boards that I created using poetry, riddles, nursery
rhymes, and memory placement.
You have hit the jackpot and with your obvious creativity you can come
up with more games and manipulatives to help your child.
If I can be of any help, post me. I have been home schooling for over 13
yrs and have worked with children with special needs just as long.
Keep up the good work! :)
