-> No it doesn't echo every character if you are using the right init string.

Outstanding!  I will give it a try...  Just hope this works with the
BBS... the init string I have for that (that, I was trying to apply to
FD) is:  AT S1001=1 S1002=1 S1003=7 S1005=0 S1008=23 &D0|

I will give it a try after work.  I have save all the other info you
provided and will apply it, and I will try to telnet over to you via
this method tonight.  Thanks... if this works, you have made mine and a
couple of other people extrememly happy :)
