A couple of times I got the distinct impression that Ross was about to get up
and leave. As far as Gore, well it seems that the position is now designated
to be occupied by someone who will look like an (fill in your own) while

insulating the president. That debate was a risk that Clint was not prepared t
take. If it went well for Gore they both look good, if it went bad Gore would

bad but Clint would insulate himself from it. Remember it will be Clinton that
will run in three years....

what that actually don't get through their heads is that we are tired of
debates centering around personalities rather than capabilities. Anyone
that tries to prove that their idea is better than the other guy's because
of the other guys personal habits obviously has no argument to support
his idea. Ence a bad idea by default.
