I would like to officialy nominate myself as moderator
  for the NOPIRACY echo. :)
  I have been on both sides of the pirate realm, as I pirated
  like a fiend in my teen years. Now Im older, and have better
  things to do than spend 4 hours downloading programs I might
  not like at all. But I remember the fun. >:)
  I'd like to start doing things like
  a. Calling up the WHQ of various software developers and getting
     reports on thier official policy regarding pirates caught
     using thier products illegaly.
  b. Getting some participation from Fido people who have actually
     been involved in legal proceedures involving piracy.

                I am pretty laid back in terms of language, and range
         of discussion. No, as moderator, I won't do silly things like
         warning people not to type astrisks in 4 letter words.
                In turn, handles will be allowed; even (gasp) high
         ASCII will be tolerated. On the other hand, keeping on topic
         is an important thing to me. With me as moderator, pirates
         as well as anti-pirates will be treated equally, providing
         they behave in a civilized manner!
