CS>> Don't quote me ;-) but I seem to recall that there is a REAL

I believe the limit is 255 fonts loaded and that's really pushing it.
CS>> I, myself, only keep the original fonts on my menus and use
CS>>the Font Viewer to bring up the others. Makes it easier to re-
CS>>member which fonts I can use for a distributed document (if
CS>>someone doesn't have the same non-native font, their Ensemble
CS>>will replace the special font with "the font from Hell").
I keep around 80-85 loaded mainly because I can never remember all the
fonts I've used in the trial catalog I make for my obedience catalog.
It's full of ads I've designed and everyone wants something "different"
and "eye-catching". So I just leave the fonts I've used loaded so that
6 months later when they want to use the same ad again, I don't have to
try and remember which ones I used. I can never remember to add the
file notes to the document where I could list all the fonts. I wish
that Geos would do like First Publisher did and scan the document when
it's loaded for the fonts used and tell you which ones are missing
before it substitutes a similar font.
CS>> Another work-around would be to convert the text in the spe-
CS>>cial font to a graphic, I guess.
How do you convert text to a graphic without exporting it to another
format without it expecting to see the font you used. I've tried this
and even though it has been converted, it still expects to see the font
you used or you get the "font from hell".

... I haven't lost my mind; it's backed up on tape somewhere!
