BH> CALL STREAM 'F:\VXREXX\TEST.TXT','C','SEEK <0' JP> According to the online REXX Reference, the default JP> initial write position for LINEOUT is the end of the BH> I know that I read it in a book but when I got to write BH> to a file without seek it acts funny and overwrites some BH> of what's already in the file? Try removing the STREAM line that opens the file. I have a REXX script where LINEOUT is used without first opening the file, and it appends to the end of the file as documented.
