I am running Watcom 10.0a without problems and don't get very specific, so
I just can guess what's wrong. Might be a silly question but : Did you open
a project before starting compiling. The icon with the white paper on it.

I've gotten the Watcom compiler on CD and have no problems with the online
documents. I don't know on wich conditions you bought the compiler, but I
only know that the Watcom is available on CD including the online doc's.
That should be round about 295.820 KB.

If you can't get any doc's, try IBM, I've heard that there is a CD wich
is called "OS/2 online book collection". As far as I know is the price
65.- german marks if you buy from IBM Germany. It contains around 100 books
online, API's, Red Books and so on.
