  BTW, I *finally* discovered the real words to Manfred Mann's
"Blinded by the light." This came as a terrible disappointment. For
years I thought it went something like...

  Blinded by the light
  racked up like a douche,
  a rubber rover in the night.

  I was convinced it had to do with condoms and prostitutes. I missed
the true meaning by that || much.

  It's really:

  Blinded by the light
  revved up like a deuce
  another roamer in the night

  The "deuce" refers to an American motor vehicle made famous by the
Beach Boys as "my little deuce coupe" given the incorrect Yank
pronunciation of dooce rather than dewce.

  I like my words better. Now all I have to do is find out what
made the waiter turn a whiter shade of pale as the miller told his
tale, translate American Pie, and I'll know everything about 
rock 'n' roll.
