What I find interesting is the total silence of civil liberties Chicken =
Littles who would be screaming "police state!" if Nagin were
white and = he and Blanco were Republicans sending convoys of armed
military police = officers into any other city in the country.

What I want to know is how come Kathleen Blanco and Mayor Nagin couldn't =
figure out how to get the National Guard into the convention center this =
fast after Katrina??   Blanco's turf wars with Nagin and Bush is what =
fouled up relief at the convention center and elsewhere.  This merely =
confirms that fact once again.

Also, on a related note:  How is it that Mayor Nagin was able to find = the
keys to all the city buses that were used to bus in voters = (illegally
imho) who had established residences outside the City of New = Orleans and
even the State of Louisiana but couldn't find those same bus = keys to
evacuate people from the dome and convention center????
