We played Union at school, so I'm with you there. The joke was that in

I am very glad I never played that. Rugby was bad enough for me, being as
I'm not a large guy but was one of the team's faster sprinters. At our
level of play that translated to inside/outside centre, aka expendable
moving target.

Football was banned at our school because it wasn't considered civilised enough ...
