Looks like thanks to Robert Murdoch, I will be able to at least watch some
of the World Cup at in the house.  Still have to find a bar to see the
first round non Team USA matches, but the semifinals and the championship
will be on.  We moved into a temporary house until our apartment is ready
and I got the AFN dish hooked up last night.  Just in time.

 Thanks to a last-minute agreement, American Forces Network viewers overseas
will get to see some World Cup soccer matches. Media mogul Rupert Murdoch,
whose media company owns Fox News, negotiated a deal with the World Cup TV
rights holders to piggyback AFN onto a deal he has with one of his many
properties, according to Pentagon spokesman Cmdr. Greg Hicks.
