Nevertheless, assuming you are talking about the HP Business Inkjet 
1000, then  you only have to  know it's a part of the HP mystery game.

Indeed, this type of inkjets is driven by the laserjet driver. So you 
have to install the nearest (probably latest) nearest by:

HP DeskJet 1200C: HP DeskJet 1200C (laserjet.drv)
HP DeskJet 1600C: HP DeskJet 1600C (laserjet.drv)
HP LaserJet 1100: HP LaserJet 1100 (laserjet.drv)
HP LaserJet 1200: HP LaserJet 1200 (laserjet.drv)
HP LaserJet 2000: HP LaserJet 2000 (laserjet.drv)
HP LaserJet 2100: HP LaserJet 2100 (laserjet.drv)
HP LaserJet 2200: HP LaserJet 2200 (laserjet.drv)
HP LaserJet 3200: HP LaserJet 3200 (laserjet.drv


Just see the specs of the installed driver are meeting the specs of the 
printer.

If it is a postscript variant, you may as well have a look at the 
pscript.exe package. On the eCS site it's ps30827en.zip .
