I sorted out my collection (!) of jars and bottles and ended up 
with one that wouldn't fit in the closet, so I used that as an 
excuse to shuffle house plants around until stalks began falling 
off, so I could stab them into the spare bottle, now filled with 
water filtered from the vacumn cleaner. 
Feeling good with myself, I set off for the church function with 
my two trays of shepherd's pie, one leaking, and came home with 
THREE foil pans, since some kind soul had rolled up with pastries 
in a HUGE tray.
Now I can just about set up as a commercial sterlised-compost 
provider.
If only I had a bigger apartment ...
