i've got practically what you want here using a configurer called esc, and
it's nearly going. you are welcome to it  - i'd rather have ppoint, but
perversly i will probably persist with it until it works properly, who
knows, i may even get to like it before then.

thats the bonus on a trip to the big smoke. if you want the stuff that i
have done, i'll bring it with me when i come up in about 3 weeks time.
