JP>Ron McDermott blabbered in a message to Joe Patterson:
RM> There have been a couple betas (November and
RM> January) which allow the use of the betas of
RM> Java 1.1.. I think you can find one or both
RM> on Hobbes. If not, you might try "testcase"
RM> at Boulder (I'm sorry, I don't have the URL
RM> handy)... If you're not interested in Java 1.1,
RM> then I'd give them a pass until all the bugs
RM> are worked out...
JP>Hi Ron, I spent about 3 hours this A.M. surfing the net in
JP>an effort to find the URL you mentioned with NO success. If
JP>you could point me in the right direction it would be
JP>appreciated. :{)
FTP://TESTCASE.BOULDER.IBM.COM
There are also several versions on a URL mentioned
in the OS/2 newsgroup: COMP.OS.OS2.BETA
I don't recall it exactly, but it has "DOOFUS" in it,
strangely enough... It was mentioned a couple times
in the last couple days, so if you subscribe, you
should be able to track it down pretty easily...
The Jan release is oddly-named: 07502.EXE; the others
are easier to recognize...
