++> Big bangs & lil' puffs!
 
  As we move to Hubble II or III and our reach goes beyond
  the earliest galaxies -beyond light; and with eight or ten
  extra forces of nature; super elegant numbers-     ....and
  we run into other cosmic *THINGS* (perhaps dragons)(or even
  nalaxies & palaxies) coming at us from further out (some
  speeding up/some slower), we become not so suddenly confronted
  with more bangs (some big, some little; some puffs). Actually
  on universal scales "BIG" and "MANY" sort of loose meaning.
  In just 20 to 30-ish years these "smarts" we now take serious
  enough to argue, will be likely laughable.  Wonder how many
  will be left on PHIL to remember and smile?  
 
         If there can be one "BANG" it is not too awkward to
  believe there can be more (perhaps zillions). Nature likes
  lots of everything, a habit some of us HAVE observed.....!
  If reality be near relative as programed on Day's Holodeck,
  then our 14 bill+ll-llion year universe, or Nick's 6000 year
  earth could easily be compressed into microseconds or expanded
  to any end; with or without deities, devils and other players
  from fleas to humans ....with lots of toys spread about. It is
  possible to even believe we are still lingering in an old Greek
  cave, watching familiar comfortable shadows dance on a wet wall-
  ......with perhaps science being some aware of a warmth on the
  shoulder. I tend believe the "Day Brown HOLODECK" approach-
  *good as any* ever heard mentioned, as it LOVES the ALL possible.
  With it, imagination and instinct and happenstance might project
  time into any directions ...any distance .......create and animate
  any symbols anywhere back into human or cosmic history. It would
  allow shaping realities and circumstances within options of synthetic
  truths and exploratory designs. Such an ultimate factory of wiccan
  wonder is perhaps not as simple an *achievable* phenomenon to judge
  as words dare permit.  As Frank has often nudged (near to reason)
  PHILOSOPHY as that quality of mind that labors to keep thought
  honest, we would monitor our growing itch of inquiry. If our species
  can adopt the notion of self fulfilling phantasy, then we might contend
  that Nature, its inventor, might also PLAY at it.

         Holodeck factory (garden) ...  (or even let us loiter
         long enough to steal His prized tomatoes)-
