 Dear Jeannelou,
 Thanks for your suggestions!  I'd never considered using half-hitch but
 like the idea... nor had I thought things through to think of rug yarn.
 I appreciate your suggestions and your willingness to take the time and
 make the effort to post them for me.  This project has me excited!
