subject: NPR - Again

I'm sitting here listening to National Public Radio -
Sunday Edition, having just regained my seat after ROTFLMAO
at NPR's unconscious elitism.
I'm referring to a segment in which they led off by
pointing out that 50% of California is a Federal disaster
area (redundant) and went on to mention how the public
would face increased food costs due to flooding. To
illustrate their point, they then switched to an
"artichoke" producer who spent 2 minutes explaining how the
flooding disrupted the root growth of artichoke and limited
it's growth.
Let me see if I have this right - the diminished artichoke
crop will result in increased food prices for the public?
Yeah... right!
