Hi Don,

I don't have to hand a running edition of Acrobat 3, as I have
superseded most installations with Acrobat 4.05R2 [not the latest] from
Innotek, but from memory the tool on the toolbar that allows you to
select any text on the page[s] is a large "T" with a little dotted
outline of a selection rectangle immediately adjacent to it exactly as
in Acrobat 3 IIRC.

You just click on it so that the usual "open-hand" cursor changes to a
text-selection one - you just drag across the required text with a mouse
to highlight it, then on the main menuat top of window go to Edit and
select Copy. you need to do this as [CTRL-INSERT] doesn't work in
Acrobat documents.

Hope that's understandable.
