And you know what?  The world WILL go on, even if the museum was looted, or
if it was stolen prior. The items that are "gone" certainly will
not be missed by the Iraqi people who are re-establishing their lives. 
Yes, I'm sorry the "stuff" is gone, but this has been going on
around the world for, well, as long as people have been keeping historical
artifacts around.
