-> One of the trailers shown with "101 Dalmations" today was for
-> "Hercules." It was a musical number where five women painted on a frieze
-> come to life and sing about what a manly hero is their man Herc. The
-> music reminds me of Billy Joel's bouncy work in "Oliver & Company", and
-> the animation is the flattest I have seen since "Toot, Whistle, Plunk,
-> Boom" (the 1953 short that won an Oscar, remember?).
When you are at DW in Jan go and see the Animation at MGM...they are now
featuring Hercules and show some of the storyboards and clips of the
movie....it looked to be more of a comady than anything else. Could be
a good one once again....maybe??? Also now at the end of the "show"
(well it's not a ride...what else is there??? :)) you talk to a Disney
animater and can ask him questions, which I think is a nice new
feature....although the down side is you have to sit thru everyone elses
questions too :)
