Italy let him go once the US had forced the egyptair plane down in
sicily.....& the US (& the EU ergo Italy) has signed a thing saying
all actions prior to 1993 carried out by the PLO etc are exempt. Heck the

Does that apply to political violence (such as we've just seen in Iraq?

& Mandela? & Kenyatta? & the free east timor people? How about the
french resistance people? Heck Shamir & Begin both became Israeli
PM'es....The anti-portuguese people in places like Mozambique became the
gov as well & the list goes on.
