Hello All,
I have noticed since I upgraded to Win/XP that some graphics
characters are not displayed as I expect them to be (as they were on
win9x) unless I run the chcp command and change the code page to 437.
Is there a way to have Win/XP use CP437 by default? I have tried using
the "mode con cp select=437" command and "chcp 437" in
autoexec.bat
as well as the autoexec.nt but it doesn't change it from CP850.
Also, I can't seem to view an ansi in Win/XP bye running
"type somecool.ans" the way I did in Win9x. I have loaded ansi.sys
in both config.sys and config.nt but it doesn't seem to work..
