A creature called James Black screamed at All:
JB> I am preparing to start programming on IBMs (been
JB> programming on a different platform for about 3 yrs), and I
JB> am wondering which compiler would be best for doing both
JB> OS/2 and Windows programming. I was considering using
JB> Visual C++, but I don't think that would be the best choice,
JB> considering the fact that it may not work so well on OS/2.
JB> What I would like is some advice on which compiler would be
JB> better, and why, if possible, as there are several choices,
JB> and I would like to buy just one compiler for both OSs.
JB> Thanx. Take care and have fun.
I'd have to reccomend Watcom C/C++ 10.0, because I use it here. It
includes compilers for a number of platforms, and environments as well.
Plus its not too expensive ($189 from Indellible Blue).
