Achieved an ambition tonight - found 3C273. Pretty inconspicuous,
but definitely there. Location was the backyard in the suburbs, the
dimmest star I could see was about 13.5 .

Interesting feeling - knowing that the photons entering my fuzzy
eyeball were older than multicellular life on this planet, older
even than Bob Lawrence.
