Hello Alan,
AI>>> I'd really like to see fidonews back to just one issue distributed to
AI>>> everyone rather than the two we have now.
WD>> You can repeat as many times that you weren't there or were not part of
WD>> it, the fact remains that the Fidonews issued by Bj”rn contains the
WD>> historic time-track since the dawn of fidonet.
AI> I wasn't there at the time, and I don't think my presence would have made
a
AI> difference anyway since I am not one of fidonets movers and shakers.
There are only 3 "movers and shakers" in the zone 1 scheme of things -
* Janis Kracht
* Ross Cassell
* Bob Seaborn
Nobody else is of any consequence or concern.
In regards to fidonet as a whole, their contribution
is insignificant, even though they do tend to make lots
of noise.
WD>> Allowing a second version to be distributed is again, WD>I'm sorry, a
AI> Z1-thing.
WD>> Only Z1 can stop this phallacy. You know who started it ...
AI> I don't know although I could guess I'm not going too. Finger pointing
AI> accomplishes nothing. I have made some pretty good missteps in my life and
AI> when I saw it I changed my direction. I think that is all we need to do
AI> here.
"If you are going to make a mistake, make a *big* mistake!"
- Phyllis Diller
We all make mistakes. Sometimes big mistakes. Should we
apologize for the mistakes we make, or have made? Sometimes.
But more often than not it is better to learn from those
mistakes. Better yet, to learn from the mistakes of others.
Janis refuses to own up to her own mistakes.
Ross refuses to own up to his own mistakes.
Bob refuses to own up to his own mistakes.
For them, fidonet is all about themselves.
Not about the sysops who make up this network.
I am merely pointing out the obvious.
What everybody already knows.
Is that fair? Is that not fair?
Should anything be said at all?
I am sure the three of them would like me to simply
go away. Just like they wanted others who called
them what they are to go away. But you know what?
They are gonna have to make me. And they can't.
And you know what that means.
I am the devil in disguise.
Their devil.
That's right.
The devil.
Of their own creation.
And I like it. :)
