Hello Charles,

CS> Open Control Panel and select "Regional and Language
Options". Click
CS> the "advanced" tab and scroll through the available code
pages. Make
CS> sure code page 437 is checked off. On my system both code page 437 and
CS> 850 are checked. If that doesn't work, you may be missing a system font
CS> or are using the wrong system fonts. That quite commonly happens when
CS> upgrading from Win9X to XP. The only cure for that is a repair install
 CS> of XP.

Thanks for the info. I changed my language setting to English (US)
from English (Canadian) and that changed my code page to CP437. All
better.. :)

 Ttyl :-),
         Al
