Glenn,
I agree.

In 1980 I worked for a contractor that operated Air Force satellite
tracking stations around the world including tne northwest (Waianae Coast)
of Oahu. There
was a massive power outage on Oahu. The tracking station had backup diesel
generators that came up okay. The local utility had to borrow some of that
power
to be able to start up their facilities.

This continues to be an interesting story.
