ahhh... yeah, cable based operation...

good luck getting DSL at that speed for a reasonable price... down here we're
paying $45/mon for 3M/768k and they're working on dropping 6M in but i don't
know what the upload will be... that's with windstream (used to be alltel and
hines before that)... then the other telco we have here, centurylink (used to
be sprint and before that carolina telephone)... we're expecting that 6M
upgrade to be the same price as the current 3M since they don't offer anything
less in this area AFAWK plus i should still be able to run my servers like i
always have :)

i know how that customer service stuff is... i've been on both sides of it...
some with good companies and some with "not so good"... in the same way that
many over-sell their service, they also don't carry enough people to provide
the service and repairs that are needed... the worst thing is when they
outsource they stuff... but i'm sure i don't need to tell you anything about
that ;)
