CH> BR>I daresay it is possible - but Mike won't have any of that.
CH> BR>ANYTHING is possible - but what was initially described is so
unlikely

CH> >make one wonder who hated the guy bad enough to bugger his weapon.
CH> I don't think Mike was trying to say that he KNEW what happened, so I
CH> don't think he would have a problem with the possibility I presented.
CH> He merely stated the facts as received by him. We can all draw our
CH> own conclusions or wait for the report.
My first impression of his reportage was that it was borderline
hysterical,
based on third-hand anecdotal information which he was not willing to hear
challenged or even questioned.
Perhaps I misunderstood - it happens often enough.
It sure looked to ME like he was making a blanket indictment on a
particularly good series of weapons based on something that he thought he
heard - not exactly the most appropriate way to proceed regardless of who
friends are.
If it was indeed a malfunction of the weapon, I'll have my weapons
corrected, or replaced. If it was a malfunction on the part of the user,
I'll
forever regret the damage that it caused. Whichever way it plays out, I don't
expect Mike will correct the impression that he left with me, that he
believes
anyone who accepts the Glock as a 'safe' weapon is an idiot.
