I was responding to a thread already in progress. I didn't initiate 
the discussion or select the specific newsgroups for it.

never fired one. You're probably one of those types of people who

Checkout the thread you swiped the post from. Another poster even 
stated that I wasn't even required to stop and render aid. Nobody felt 
I didn't do the right thing in this situation. I've a right to defend 
myself using whatever means necessary. It's not like I had time to get 
my gun out of it's holster and return fire as we're rolling down the 
road. Much less risk to others in such a situation to use your vehicle 
instead of your firearm.
