Don, my S1590 really doesn't like any of >Ultra LSI Controllers. I've
not tried Adaptec, so don't know if it's an LSI thing or a SCSI thing.
When I install my 21002 or 8953 and want to boot SCSI with any IDE
installed, I must set the BIOS for IDE to NONE or it won't even POST. It
may indeed be time to retire the S1590, and gain a lot of speed in the
process.
