Man and I have a regular rate plan and I get stuck with .17 a minute and
.0 a minute off peak :)  Hehe.

They even call them different things everywhere?  Over here it's called
a Tele-Tac and it just looks like a generic 550.  A Star Tac is a piece
of shit compared to the elite in my opinoin, unless you get the VIP pack.

Cellular one CA has had digital for about 6 years I believe.  Pretty long
time, even though they have the sorry TDMA system, I Guess it works ok for
them.  Most of the plans available here come with all your above features.
