I can't answer your question directly, but I might be able to help
in another way.  Do you have the CD-ROM version of Watcom?  Because
Watcom will send you a new CD with the A-level patches already
applied.  I didn't even have to ask for mine, all I did was register
when I first bought the product, and they sent me a new CD free of
charge.
