I filled in for a friend doing sound on some of the NYstuff in
"Pumping Iron," so I have a bit of perspective. Before that
movie, a bodybuilder's body was just low-class, so grotesque as to be
beyond comment.  Thirty years later, a psychiatrist friend is handing out
'stone to his gay patents like candy, and everyone's just gotta bulge,
everywhere.

It's pure fashion, until you have to pay the piper.  That's later, much later.
