Actually, I don't think the 64DD will fragment the market as much as, say,
the 32X or CD add-ons did for Sega. The key is that, unlike those other
upgrades, this is a collection of upgrades: larger storage medium, more RAM,
a modem.
Of course, there will doubtlessly be some people who don't (and/or won't)
get the 64DD. But for the people who are seriously into the N64, it will
certainly be tempting.
