How does the dispatcher know the caller's name if they're at a pay phone?
How does the dispatcher know the caller is handicapped or has some other
medical problem if they use a pay phone?
That's not the kinda data your local phone company is compiling.
Betcha all E911 gives the dispatcher is an address and phone number, and
the rest of that data is in the communication center's computer. That's
the sort of information the fire companies gather when they're out of the
station conducting pre-fire inspections and planning.
