My first attempt with Ubuntu has been less satisfactory than Knoppix;
so I am now trying my fingering with SimplyMEPIS that CA pointed me to.
So far its doing better than Ubuntu.

Given that I sense the USA is at about the same dissipated point as
Great Britian was at the end of WWII; I hope Canada or Australia are
ready to take up the standard of world power (if we WASPs expect to
