| subject: | Os/2 Shut Down In Pascal |
SG> Does anyone know how i can Shut down OS/2 with Pascal ? PF>I assume you are using a native OS/2 Pascal compiler, that PF>can call OS/2 API's. In this case, simply call PF>DosShutdown(). Tim Sennit has a clean little implementation of a WORKPLACE shutdown in C that makes a nice model. DosShutdown() closes files OK, but your desktop is left to its own devices (no pun intended). WinShutdownSystem(hAB, hMsgQueue) behaves like the much more desirable shutdown action for the actual desktop. Assuming, of course, that Pascal can get to the call. Anyway, it's worth checking out Sennit's TTFN on the Developers' Connection. ___ * MR/2 2.03 NR * I don't want it now, I want it RIGHT now! --- Maximus/2 2.02* Origin: The Ozone Layer, Williston, VT.
