Hello Niels,

 NP> Win311 was on C & I need to put it on D so 95 can go on C. Now have 4
NP> drives and Dos progs were on C and need to be put on F so that I can

 NP> machine.
 NP> Clear as mud ???

95? You sick puppy. Haven't we taught you anything yet?

NP> Also need to rearrange things as there are now 7 machines in 3 rooms
NP> on the network and an 8th in another room is to be added.

Stuff that. I have one big file server, the mailer, a backup pc for the
mailer that's turned off till it needs to come to life, my work pentium with
all the goodies in it, and a joe average 486 that is used to do all my mail.
All are connected to a four-way keyboard/monitor switchbox so I don't have to
stuff around with the cables.
I can actually do my maint and mail on both at the moment, but if I choose to
use the pent for some other alternative OS that don't work real good over the
network, I still have that other machine.

NP> The quick and nasty looks like the shot. When are you going to have
NP> time to do a pretty when you will be heavily involved as a critical
NP> part of this new PE Net ??? :-)

The only thing that's holding me back on the pretty list is I have to put
some of my directories in a particular format so another piece of software will
look at it. I'm waiting on an example of that format, and once I get that, it
will all go together quite nicely. Real Soon Now.

 >> ... I tried phone sex once, but the holes were too small.
 > NP> Just open them up a bit more. a 1/8" bit should do it. :-)

 > Oh, ok, I'd better get the hammer drill out just in case...

NP> Will send the post hole auger if it is required :-)

Naw, that's cool, one of my neighbors runs a bobcat, and I can get him to
dig a trench if required. :-)

P.S. I got a message sent to me via chistian's system that was a copy of
my original "mail map" message to all. I got it via netmail.
Did you have a
play with the system again? :-)
