He might ... the vacation would also be fun for you too.  I think REG had fun 
just preparing for his journey ... outfitting the RV, taking short 
experimental trips ... I moved Zonker from the sun room to the kitchen ... 
more seasonal activity in the kitchen anyway.  The move did her good.  Kept 
her on her toes the first week or so.  Now she is more part of her family ... 
more content ... less anxious ... less likely to pluck her feathers (which 
has not yet).  Around February I expect we will move her back or to another 
room.  Try it with NIgel ... it might work.  Keep variety part of his life 
... .
BTW, my pair have given me a chick.  Tinker gets pulled DEC 14th for hand 
feeding ... bought time!  17 infertile eggs ... sheese ...
