I think that you are reading much to much into this situation. While I
can't speak for the national leadership or Jamal, I know that Mr. Maurer et
al knew about what was going on, and I believe that Jamal is being given a
second chance. This is not an admission of a mistake etc. You seem to be
putting an interpretation on events that place the NFB in the worse light.
