PE>> Hi, I've just released PDPC051.ZIP and PDOS010.ZIP. I am sending them
PE>> both to John. Can you make both of these available for FREQ please?
PE>> PDPC051 is a public domain c library

PE>> PDOS010 is a public domain operating system (incomplete)

JT> I've had a quick look at it. Why don't you work with the guys who are
JT> working on FreeDOS?

I did contact them.

JT> Most of that is done, and it serves the same purpose
JT> you are intending, except I *think* their code is GNU, not public domain.

And that is exactly right. I explicitly said I wanted to be part of
Freedos if it was public domain, but they said it was going to be Gnu Virus
Licenced.

JT> Same shit different smell as they say. It's still free.

If it was the same shit, they would be happy to make it PD. They're not.
Hence PDOS. BTW, is there ANY genuine PD operating systems in the world? I
think FreeBSD might be half-PD. What about CPM? BFN. Paul.
