yup. about a year, now :-(
speaking of closures, read in NEWSline that Henry Radio out in Southern
California also shut it's doors. The problem they cited was ' not enough
"big-ticket" sales'.
With the onslaught of no-code technicians operating on what has turned out to
be a (slightly) higher educated CB band (2m), it's no wonder that there
aren't anymore HF rigs sold.
BEFORE I GET SLAMMED:
I think the REAL reason there are not more 'big-ticket' sales, are the prices
of HF Rigs these days!
