Well, I think that not knowing about those turntables rather shows our 
(relative) youth. I, and I think Thom too, was born when Vinyl was already on 
it's way down in the consumer market, and grew up with the introduction of 
the digital audio storage media (CD, DAT, DCC, MD, ...)
