Jeff, thanks very much for the highly informative message.  It appears the
information is relevant only to the DOS/Windows version.  Since I don't do
C++, I needed only step 1, and it did nothing to decrease the size of the
.EXE.  I also tried the compiler switches suggested in previous messages in
combination with what you sent.  Thanks again...
