Hi all,
        the wankers are at it again... they want a new national
anthem. They don't like Advance Australia Fair because it has
'reactionary' lyrics (after they've already rewritten them to be
politically correct)... they like the sound of "We are Austaliennne"

  Personally, I find that song offensive. The music is more suited to
a Mojo TV jingle, and the line "from many lands we come" really gets
up my nose.

  I come from HERE. I am and have never been anything but AUSTRALIAN.
I was born here and shall die here. I owe no other country or group
any allegiance whatsoever. My Celtic genes do not give a flying red
fuck for Ireland, and in fact if I were Tony Blair I would nuke Dublin. 
As for England, fuck them too. The Scots and Welsh are fucked already.

  I am not an immigrant, in common with 80% of Australians, so why
write a song that assumes we all came here on a big white ship? It is
not for us Australians to adapt to fucking immigrants, it is for them 
to adapt to us. They're not doing us any favours. If they don't like our 
song and our flag, then their choice should be obvious... bugger off.

  I am sick to death of bloody foreigners telling me how to treat
them. I am sick to death of the bullshit... how much we owe the
immigrants, how much they have contributed to our culture, all crap
and not one word about how much we contribute the them, how much they
take from us... a hundred years of hi-tech infrastructure theirs for
the taking. It should be obvious: they come here, not the other way
around. They owe us, and it's about time they showed a little humility
and gratitude, and shut up gabbling in their wog languages.
