Actually I'd read them already.  Since I've recently regained my feed to
UFO, I felt that it behooved me to read them at first post after my
return.

I was somewhat surprised to see the following:
   * b: Insulting messages written in other echoes about UFO echo
        participants or moderators may be cause to suspend your writing
        privileges in UFO.
That has the same flavor as the stuff that was going around a couple of
years ago by that fellow named Barstool or some such and his lady
henchman over in the other echo.   Can't remember their real names cause
I've never read that echo anyhow, but there was a lot of bitching about
it here.
I don't think its a good sign. We teach our kids the little ditty about,
"Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me",
and "ignore the insults and they won't be fun any more".  As adults, we
should be able see that without being told.
Maybe thats why there were 25-50 messages a day when I left and today at
four was the largest I've seen since my return.
